A higher standard

More than a number on a label.

Every result is built on visible process, documented evidence, and accountability.

01

Transparent grading

We document the factors behind the grade, including centering, corners, edges, surface, and printing characteristics.

02

Authentication first

A numerical grade is assigned only after the available evidence supports authenticity.

03

Documented custody

Arrival and outgoing photos create a clear condition record throughout the grading process.

04

Grader accountability

Each evaluation is associated with the grader who performed it—not an anonymous black box.

05

Certification lookup

Every encapsulated card receives a unique certification number for future verification.

06

Honest uncertainty

If evidence is insufficient, we mark authentication unverified rather than issue a grade we cannot support.

How it works

A microscopic, zone-by-zone inspection.

Every card is examined through a repeatable process designed to make small defects visible and grading decisions easier to understand.

100 zones on the front. 100 on the back.

We map each face of the card into a 10 × 10 grid. Every one of the 100 sections is examined under magnification and receives an observation score from 1–10.

The section scores are averaged and reviewed to establish the card’s Surface and Centering subgrades. With both sides inspected, each card receives a 200-zone review.

SurfaceZone scores reveal scratches, print defects, dents, and wear.
CenteringThe grid supports consistent alignment and border evaluation.
CornersJeweler-grade magnification reveals whitening, bends, and compression.
EdgesMagnified inspection identifies chipping, rough cuts, and edge wear.

Four subgrades. One overall grade.

Surface, Centering, Corners, and Edges are considered together to produce the final result, followed by a consistency review before encapsulation.
